delivery you will identify necessary changes to initial plans and validate the location of
existing infrastructure.
During construction you will play a critical role in ensuring plans remain deliverable, by
supporting our engineering teams with redesigns aligned to our network architecture. When
network areas have been constructed you will ensure that our Network is accurately recorded

Infrastructure team.

effective updates to desk-based planners to create a HLD/LLD design
- Attend site to provide practical solutions to urgent re-planning requirements and drive
unit count targets
- Identify potential access and wayleave issues that will delay works.
- Understand the UPRN data and extract network capabilities, building a valid plan
with the desk-based planners.
Health and Safety
- Identify health and safety risks and document on network designs H&S report as part
of RFC process.
- Ensure network is built in line with H&S standards and issues are highlighted in as
built Quality audit.
- Ensure that our network is built to standard, that issues are identified, and that
feedback is provided to individual engineers.
- Audit completed network build to ensure that it is both built to standards and
architectural specification.
Ad Hoc survey requirements
- Support ad hoc and new GPON survey requirements defined by the business such as
Business connectivity, EAD replacement, Area level networks and other special
projects
Process improvement
- Work with wider teams to help define the processes and documentation to build an
effective surveying capability
What are we looking for?
- Quality network plans: Creating buildable networks by focussing on the detail of
design
- Attention to detail: Ensuring designs are both achievable as well as consistent with
our network architecture
