**Role Overview**

In your role as Content Strategist, you will work alongside a multi-skilled team in sprints, focusing on delivering the best possible solutions for our range of e-commerce clients.

You should have a deep understanding of customer behaviour and industry trends, utilising this knowledge to create innovative marketing solutions. This understanding of users should inform your approach to crafting strategies, ensuring alignment with user needs.

You’ll be expected to be proficient in various tools and platforms to conduct comprehensive audits, analyse competitor strategies, and optimise websites for maximum visibility and performance.

**Day-to-Day Expectations**
- Champion a logic-driven decision-making process across the team, supporting and collaborating with team members on the significance of understanding and addressing user wants and needs.
- Implement innovative SEO approaches, leveraging insights to create a unique positioning that resonates with target audiences.
- Establish strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, aligning SEO strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to shape overall SEO direction, prioritising user-centric approaches, and contribute to agency growth.

**Required Skills**:
As a content strategist, you must be proficient and confident with the following responsibilities:

- Lead and evolve audits to identify new opportunities and solutions to optimise website journeys, integrating insights into user behaviours and preferences.
- Utilise data storytelling techniques to effectively communicate insights rooted in understanding user needs and preferences.
- Ability to implement innovative SEO approaches grounded in logic and understanding of user needs.
- Have excellent communication and writing skills.
- A strong background in digital marketing.
- Demonstrate a keen desire to learn and grow.
- Attend at least 1 day in our Chester office a week.

We offer flexible working hours and a hybrid working policy. You’ll have the freedom to work from home, except Mondays as this is our planning day where you will collaborate with your team. You will be entitled to 25 days of holidays per year (increasing by 1 day per year for the first 5 years), a personalised development plan, and ongoing support to further your role within the agency.

In typical agency style, we like to think we’re a social bunch and we regularly organise in and after-work events, quarterly get-togethers, and the usual parties, led by our culture club team. The office is quite cool too We have a modern, clean working space, a ping-pong table, a fridge of refreshing drinks, and dogs running around most days.

**Benefits**
- Salary range of £25,000 - £35,000, dependent on experience.
- Hybrid working - Minimum one day in the Chester office.
- 25 days holiday, along with bank holidays. With each year you spend with us, you'll earn an extra day of leave, up to a maximum of 30 days.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
