Risk Intelligence Services (RIS) is currently working with our Chief Data Information Office (CDIO) to build and deploy new risking services utilising integrated SAS VIYA tools. This is a high priority Programme with Government Major Project Portfolio Status (GMPP).  You will join a RIS Configuration Team who are configuring the tools and data for 6500+ end users

It’s an exciting time to join RIS Analysis Compliance Risk Engineering Solutions Team (CREST) as a Product Owner. We play a lead role in projects and programmes which transform our approach to data processing, and it’s use in risk services. We will provide you with the opportunity to hit the ground running in your role with a prioritised backlog of features that the Programme Team are currently working. You will work closely with technical delivery partners to deliver Investigation, Detection & Risking System (IDRS) as a live service and to continue to expand the capability post go-live.

The Product Owner will work closely with technical delivery partners to deliver Investigation, Detection & Risking System (IDRS) as a live service. This is an exciting opportunity support the delivery of the service into live and to continue to expand and develop capability post go live.

The role will initially focus on the prioritisation and delivery of our mínimal viable product for go-live whilst working through a prioritised backlog of features to be delivered once the service is in operation, plus deal with new user requests as they become apparent.  Post go-live you will work closely with your Scrum Teams to prioritise the remaining backlog of user stories within the Scrum Team(s) and see these through to delivery. CREST is responsible for the configuration of the vital components of IDRS, and we will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing these components, actioning service level requests from our end-users and resolving incidents as they occur.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Product Owner you will;
- Manage products and features through it’s delivery lifecycle.
- Refine backlog items with other product owners.
- Support lead product owners to prioritise the platform backlog.
- Provide effective prioritisation to scrum teams.
- Be visible at various governance groups to discuss prioritisation activities and delivery lifecycles of products and features.
- Be developing expert skills in and knowledge of product management techniques.

**Essential Criteria**
- **Experience of working within constraints**. You understand the value of policy, legislative, regulatory and operational constraints and can find the simplest, shortest and fastest solution for users.
- **Problem ownership**. You can initiate and monitor actions to investigate patterns and trends to resolve problems. You know how to consult specialists where required. You can determine the appropriate remedy and assist with implementation of it. You know how to determ
