Are you experienced with taking on full life-cycle cyber security improvement programmes? Do you want a job that put you as the lead strategic programme manager interacting with a diverse range of key stakeholders?

You will be re-evaluating the security capabilities in the areas of threat prevention, detection, and response. As part of this strategic approach to security, a Cyber Security Improvement Programme has been established by the Information Services Departmentto protect devices, and the services and data we access from theft or damage.

The Strategic Programme Manager will lead the Cyber Security Improvement Programme, working with stakeholders to produce accurate and achievable plans to ensure the programme is delivered, and meets the required success criteria.

Leading the full programme lifecycle from initiation to service transition, the Strategic Programme Manager will be responsible for managing and leading Project Managers within the wider team.

Occasionally working remotely to the rest of the Programme Office, having significant governance relationships with Professional Services Directors and Executive Board members, the post holder will be required to ensure the successful integration of multiplecomplex and strategically critical work streams, resources and projects across the entire organisation.

In addition the post holder will undertake extensive interaction and engagement with multiple internal senior stakeholders and management of external suppliers in order to create a highly motivated and productive approach.

The positions will suit someone with substantial experience, authoritative knowledge and relevant professional qualifications, the post holder will demonstrate a proven and extensive track record in successful leadership and change management of both technicalfacilities, process and cultural change and the successful delivery of effective, high quality projects to meet organisational needs.
