My client is a successful global company that provides a variety of on-site Laboratory Services to major pharmaceutical companies. They now have an exciting opportunity for a Life Science Sales Specialist to cover the east region of the UK.

**Responsibilities**:
You will assist our Account Managers by providing expert product and sales assistance for our Life Science portfolio of products to customers in the Pharmaceutical, Government, Industrial, and Higher Education sectors.
- Promote and sell our Life Science portfolio of goods to our customers directly and through our Account Managers.
- Support general account managers (field and telesales) as well as Regional Distributors with technical and product knowledge.
- Schedule and attend regular customer visits to meet sales and margin targets for your zone.
- Provide weekly reports to your sales manager and keep track of customer data, including visits, prospects, and other responsibilities.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, internal colleagues, and end-users to ensure that business growth is supported through shared marketing and price support.

**About You**
- To complement your grasp of the product portfolio, you'll need a degree in biology or a comparable discipline.
- To guarantee that sales opportunities and growth are maximised, extensive sales experience or relevant occupational/laboratory experience is required. Any experience managing significant or strategic accounts is desirable.
- Because you will be communicating with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, you must have excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
- Strong IT abilities, especially Microsoft Office fluency and the ability to write effective reports.
- To be productive, you must have the flexibility to travel frequently within your territory and the organisational ability to handle your own calendar.
