**Position Overview**:
As a Junior Operations Assistant at Ambassador Pools, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth coordination between various departments. You'll support our Marketing, Admin, and Sales teams, providing assistance where needed and contributing to the overall efficiency of the business. This is a dynamic position with room for growth, allowing you to explore different areas of the company and develop your skills in your preferred department over time.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Marketing Support**:

- Assist with social media management, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and monitoring engagement on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Help create and post engaging content for company blogs and other digital platforms.

**Administrative Support**:

- Prepare and manage purchase orders, dispatch notifications, and other key documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and the logistics team to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.
- General administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and customer follow-ups.
- Price comparisons, inputting competitor price data into a spreadsheet and keeping track of our position in the market, making the sales manager aware if we are being beaten on price.

**Sales Support**:

- Provide support to the sales team by handling incoming queries and orders during peak times or staff shortages.
- Assist with processing telephone orders and answering product-related questions from customers.
- Help manage our eCommerce platforms, including Amazon and eBay, ensuring listings are up-to-date and assisting with customer service as needed.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in marketing, administration, sales support, or customer service (internships or part-time roles are acceptable).
- Ability to learn quickly and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

**Summer hours (8 months) 42.5 hour weeks**:
Monday to Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm, Saturdays: 8:30am-5pm.

**Winter hours (4 months) 40 hour weeks**:
Monday to Friday: 8:30am-5pm, Saturdays: 9am-4pm.

Please note that you will not be required to work every Saturday. We work a minimum of 10 Saturdays per year, and swapping shifts with the team is possible if you can't work the date provided.

Pay: £10.00-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 42.5 per week

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (required)
