Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher to join our team. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meat products in accordance with food safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of food production and culinary techniques.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cut meat products according to customer specifications
- Trim, bone, tie, and grind meats using various tools and equipment
- Ensure proper storage and handling of meat products to maintain freshness and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the butchering area
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of meat products
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working as a Butcher or in a similar role within a kitchen or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques, and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent knife skills and manual dexterity

**Skills**:

- Food production: Knowledge of food production processes, including cutting, trimming, grinding, and packaging.
- Culinary: Understanding of culinary techniques and the ability to prepare meat products for cooking.
- Kitchen: Experience working in a kitchen environment, following recipes, and collaborating with other kitchen staff.
- Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food preparation, customer service, and sanitation standards.
- Food safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices to ensure safe handling of meat products.
- Butcher: Proficiency in butchering techniques, including trimming, boning, tying, and grinding meats.
- Food preparation: Ability to prepare meat products for cooking or further processing.

Pay: £8.48-£15.18 per hour

Expected hours: 15.18 per week
