Sheridan Maine are working with an ambitious FMCG food manufacturer based near Poole who are seeking a high calibre individual to be a part of their energetic team, able to deliver outstanding results within a supportive and rapidly evolving culture. Reporting into the Regional Operational Financial Controller, working within the Senior Leadership Team and business partnering with the Site Director. This role will be responsible for: - Forecasting/Budgeting site performance - Standard balance sheet controls (accruals/prepayments etc.) - Site overhead controls, and ensuring cost centres are owned by relevant SLT members through regular reviews - Leading the on-site finance team with day to day tasks and ensuring development of the wider team - Manage the production of site P&L’s - Ensure site KPI reporting is timely and supported with detailed understanding - Site variance reporting and understanding of; MUV, Labour efficiency and rates, Distribution and Overheads - Preparation of capex proposals and ensuring post investment appraisals are completed and measured in line with original proposals - Play a lead role in the continuous improvement cycle, measuring live projects and supporting development of future pipeline Skills and experience: - ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified - Advanced excel skills with strong ERP knowledge - People management/development experience - FMCG senior finance experience - Strong history of building relationships with other internal stakeholders This role is site based with some flexibility with home working, on offer is a base salary of £60k + Car allowance, Bonus and a really engaging and friendly working environment.
