**You as a People and Talent Assistant**
You thrive on working in partnership with others (in this case the People and Talent Team, Finance and our McCanners)
You’re organised, a demon for systems and detail, and can spot an error in data a mile off
You’re energised by getting under the skin of a process and how things fit together, always looking for efficiencies
You’re passionate about creating the best experience for our McCanners on every step of their journey with us
You’re proactive and understand the importance of deadlines, able to prioritise and flex when there are multiple things on your plate
You understand the confidential and sensitive nature of what we do and how critical getting the basics right is, you’re best buds with our auditors
You excited to drive your own development and are keen to build your HR career, interested in experiencing all areas of what we do
**What you’ll be doing**
**_ New Starters_**
- Working with IT to ensure accounts are set up and equipment is sent to new starters ahead of start date
- Managing system access through HRLink and Teamseer
- Adding them to our onboarding platform to ensure documentation is completed ahead of start
- Completing ‘Right to work’ checks via our Right to Work system (Xydus)
- Requesting employment references - raise any flags with People Partner/People Advisor
- Updating our internal trackers with employee details and DE&I info
- Adding them to our org charts and keeping org charts up to date with any subsequent changes
- Supporting in processing visas as necessary
**_Probations_**
- Ensuring line managers are aware of when probations are coming to an end and supporting the next steps
- Supporting the People Advisor with end the of probation process, creating letters to be sent and keeping on top of them
**_ Freelancers_**
- Supporting Studio Bookings Manager and Creative Resource Director with IR35 questions
- Raising and extending contracts on Worksome
- Supporting freelancers throughout their time with us with any queries and forming solid relationships with them
**_ Leavers_**
- Managing our leaver process from resignation to last day, ensuring everyone has a positive experience as their time with us come to an end
- Sending confirmation of leaver details to employee - confirming final working date, outstanding annual leave
- Organising kit and phone return
- Sending exit survey to be completed
