**The role and responsibilities of a Data Quality Analyst**:
The Data Quality Analyst will be required to ensure accurate reporting to clients, ensuring, where applicable, adherence to strict regulatory reporting governance.The post holder will embed and continuously improve processes that underpin initiatives todrive data accuracy and insightful reporting, working closely with the client to respond to their evolving requirements.
- Accountable for the accuracy and delivery of client regulatory MI dashboards and insight reports.
- SME for regulatory data capture, reporting and adherence to and continuous improvement of processes.
- First line support for enquiries from a broad client stakeholder group across multiple territories, relating to regulatory dashboards and processes, in addition to bespoke data feeds and dashboards.
- Client lead in relation to regulatory reporting and bespoke client reporting.
- Support the operation to achieve a thorough understanding of the regulatory process and provision of feedback and input to training as required.
- Contingency support as required to act as a point of contact or escalation for the internal operation and client compliance/audit teams in relation to regulatory processes.
- Support and drive accuracy and delivery of bespoke client dashboards, to include quality assurance prior to key reporting milestones.
- Quality assurance of MI in support of contractual requirements to ensure adherence to service level agreements and, where applicable, accurate tracking of contractual activity to support commercial operating model.
- SME for licensed client data capture to include proposals for data checks and insights for client on where data accuracy could be improved, along with first point of support for licensed users.
- Promotion of a standardised approach to quality assurance and testing of regulatory reporting outputs.
- Continuous improvement of quality assurance and testing processes and practices within the Analytics team.

**Skills and experience required to be a successful Data Quality Analyst**

Essential
- An understanding of data.
- Independent thinker and creative problem solver with a good eye for detail.
- Able to clearly and credibly communicate with a diverse set of stakeholders, explaining technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Able to work confidently with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver analytical projects effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, ability to use initiative and judgement.
- Demonstrate an interest in the wider operation to assist in data preparation and challenge the norm

Desirable
- Previous experience in data quality.
- Experience in working with large and complex data sets.
