Social Media Marketing Executive

**Type: Part-Time flexible working hours + Potential to increase days and to a full-time position**

**Location: Hybrid working system at our office in Reigate, Surrey, so you will need to live at a commutable distance for one day a week on-site.**

**Salary: £11 per hour**

**Music Gateway is a global platform built with the sole purpose of empowering creatives within the music industry. With a marketplace designed to promote, market, and improve people’s music while building their network, with sync representation to get songs placed in TV & film.**

**What does the Marketing team do?**

The Marketing team works to spread the word about Music Gateway as well as opportunities that creatives can get involved in. The team also works alongside a number of partners and collaborators and shares positive stories about members of the community and useful information in the form of articles.

**Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities**:
This position will report directly to the Marketing and Digital Promotions Managers.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Social Media Marketing: 2 years

**Duties**:

- Create and collate great visual assets in line with company message & branding to publish on the company’s social media platforms.
- Keep an up-to-date plan of all activity across the company’s social media including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok & LinkedIn.
- Plan and maintain the social media content calendar.
- Create and schedule regular posts with engaging copy across social media platforms using Hootsuite and Meta.
- Analyse and report back on content, looking at key performance indicators and content types to make informed recommendations.
- Create strong written posts that have excellent grammar and spelling that grab the attention of the audience.
- Liaise with other departments to gather information for marketing purposes.
- Monitor, review and engage with responses across all social media platforms.
- Market research within the Music Sector to gauge social media trends.
- Staying up to date with all developments in social media, such as legal changes, new platforms and new features.

**Required Competencies/Skills**:

- 2 years minimum previous experience with social media scheduling and planning.
- Proven experience in running successful social media campaigns.
- Experience working with Hootsuite and Meta Business.
- Experience working with Canva & other social design tools.
- Excellent organisational ability, great communicator and a skilled post creator.
- Outstanding social media savvy.
- The ability to work autonomously and make a project your own.
- Clear communication skills.

**Highly desirable**:

- TikTok content creation experience
- Passionate about music and the modern music industry.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop.
