**Positions Title**: Procurement & Export Administrator

**Team**: Procurement

**Employment Status**: Full Time | 40 Hours | Monday to Friday | 9:00am to 5.00pm

**Reports To**: Procurement & Export Manager

**Job Purpose**:
The primary responsibility of the Procurement & Export Administrator is to manage local supply sources and to purchase materials or services to support the business at the most beneficial rates to the company. The Procurement & Export Administrator will develop supplier relationships and implement processes, protocols, and practices to support growth and demand spikes; introduce improvements and upgrades; and ensure alignment with scheduling and logistics.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Ongoing demand forecasting
- Build and maintain supply redundancy
- Source new regional vendors, parts, and materials
- Work with the sales / service teams to coordinate outsource partnerships for volume parts during times of high demand.
- Maintain a supplier evaluation system and coordinate with vendors to help improve their performance
- Vendor negotiations
- Maintain part costs, update delivery information and vendor quote information in the ERP software
- Monitor inventory levels for critical parts
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings when required
- Maintain and communicate availability information across the company
- Import / export - Trained in protocols and practices

**Knowledge Skills, Experience and Competencies**
- Knowledge and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Technical Skills
- Operational experience gained in materials expediting, activity scheduling and inventory management.
- Extensive technical knowledge of fire and security equipment
- Use of ERP system
- General Skills:

- Microsoft Office Products
- Excellent communication skills
- Attitudes:

- A pro-active self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team
- Excellent Leadership Skill
- Ability to work unsupervised
