Business Development Manager

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Development Manager (Digital Transformation) within our Managed Print Services Division (MPS).
As a leading digital services provider, our Managed Print Division designs, implements and supports the Print infrastructures of some of the UK’s top organisations within both the public and private sector, as well as advising and supporting our client’sadoption of new solutions for digital transformation.
**So what do you need to do?**
The key objective of this role is to develop both a new business pipeline and existing accounts, successfully building long lasting relationships with our clients and ultimately meet and exceed sales and profit targets.
**You will**:
- Successfully forecast and build a pipeline of new business opportunities for transformative software, solutions and services
- Seek out the final decision makers and key influencers to set up appointments to sell Commercial’s portfolio of products and services
- Arrange and organise site visits for existing customers and prospects to showcase Commercial’s unique offering across all Divisions and the Foundation
- Profile requirements of new prospects prior to making calls and external meetings
- Participate in weekly calling days to set up external face to face meetings
- Achieve personal KPI targets as set by your manager
- Ensure the prospecting CRM database is maintained effectively to reflect progress with new business and campaigns
- Engage with the Professional Services team to learn about new products and services.
- Work in collaboration with the Solution Consulting team to put together detailed customer proposals
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the technology market place, trends and innovative and transformative technologies
- Develop skills to provide requisite client thought leadership and expertise
- Work within best practice guidelines in a totally dependable way
- Deliver quarterly account reviews to designated existing clients
**You have got**:
- A new business focus
- A proven track record in developing new business is advantageous but not essential
- Self-motivation and determination to succeed
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong presentation skills
- An interest in IT and enthusiasm for how technology solutions support our clients’ business strategy (in conjunction with the Solutions Consulting Team)
- Potential to build strong, long lasting relationships with new and existing clients across a variety of sectors
- Ability to generate own leads and deliver net new business pipeline
- A full, clean driving licence
**In return you can expect**:
- A competitive salary between £25,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
- Uncapped commission and expected OTE of £35,000 - £60,000
- Generous holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 29 days with length of service
