**Permanent Contract I Hybrid working I Banking**_My client is a specialised Challenger Bank focused on international payments and cash management services. The Bank offers low-cost basic corporate banking products that include international transactions, multi-currency cash management and UK domestic payments.Their suite of products is designed to simplify how overseas payments and foreign exchange are managed. They are now looking to hire a **Compliance Advisory Officer**to join the team.

Work under the Compliance function to support and promote a strong compliance culture throughout the bank. The role will entail:

- Provide the business with timely and relevant regulatory advice, guidance and training to enable them to assess the impact and implement any associated changed to comply.
- Provide regulatory advice to the business if required following Compliance Monitoring reviews.
- Identify and review key regulatory changes through effective and regular Horizon Scanning and prepare business impact assessments.
- Maintain and report on Horizon scanning to the Governance or Compliance Committee.
- Draft and maintain Compliance Policies and Procedures.
- Act as the Compliance lead on regulatory changes impacting the Bank and on associated change projects.
- Maintain the Banks Management responsibilities Map, Statements of Responsibilities and Certified Colleagues list.
- Draft and deliver ad-hoc regualtory training to internal stakeholders, including Senior Managers and Certification Regime Training.
- Work closely with the Compliance Monitoring Officer for ongoing project work.
- Prepare and provide MI to the governance committees and/or senior management.

**Our client is looking for**
- A minimum of 3 to 6 year's compliance, legal or risk
- Strong experience or understanding of the wholesale, retail and corporate banking industry.
- In-depth knowledge of UK regulatory compliance requirements
- Proven prior experience working within Compliance Advisory, Risk and Compliance roles
- A strong knowledge of risk assessments and controls
- Experience with three lines of defence model
- Strong writing and verbal skills
- Strict work ethic
- High attention to detail.
