The Ocean Rooms Beauty, Southampton is the most luxurious beauty salon on the South Coast set in the heart of Ocean village. We boast beautiful views over the Marina and have a beautifully kitted out and maintained premises. We are busy, vibrant and proactive and we value our staff above all else.

This exciting opportunity to become Front of House Staff will provide excellent training and growth potential. This position offers training opportunities, commission scheme, great benefits and a fantastic working environment within a wonderful team.

**Qualifications and Qualities required;**
- Exceptional customer service and the understanding of the clients needs is an essential part of this position.
- Excellent communication skills for both client and colleague interaction with the ability to work well within a team.
- Strong administrative skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Previous experience with a reception/ admin role preferable.
- A strong understanding of client confidentiality and GDPR.
- Excellent English language and grammar.
- High cleaning standards

**Job Description;**
- Front of house reception duties including meeting customers, answering the phone, taking bookings and payments.
- Cleaning and laundry.
- Preparing rooms for and clearing up from various treatments.
- Capturing imagery and creating content for social media.
- Stock ordering and management.
- Customer care - making drinks, checking consultations forms and confirming patch tests have been completed.
- Gel nail removal - adequate training will be provided.

Part time hours available. Evening and Weekend work will be essential but shifts could be negotiated. Fluency in English is also required.

This is a temporary contract for 3 months but there is a possibility of weekend shifts continuing to be available after September. Job would suit student (Beauty or other) looking for summer work.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract

Pay: £10.00-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
