**Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias | Greater Manchester |Permanent Role | Salary £36,000 - £38,000 Dependent on Experience | Excellent Shift Pattern | Plus benefits.**

I am working on an opportunity for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer who is electrically biased to join my client’s Engineering department. you will be a key player in helping to support preventative maintenance and add further industry knowledge to theexpanding engineering team.

- Fault finding and repair of on-line breakdowns and off-line equipment.
- To repair plant / machinery faults in a timely manner and have the initiative to request assistance if the fault cannot be rectified within a reasonable time period.
- Carry out daily inspections on guarding, air, steam and water leaks and complete repairs as necessary.
- Complete weekly environmental inspections and testing.
- Adhere to and work the call-out and on-call system as required.
- Planned maintenance is carried out in accordance with the schedule on the following: Conveyors, Mixing, Milling, Calendars, Press Machinery, Laundry Machinery, Steam Systems, Fluid Systems, Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
- Implement modifications and improvements to all levels to improve efficiency.
- To install new equipment and to relocate existing equipment throughout the site, including the installation of power supplies.
- General fitting duties e.g. checking and installing bearings, replacing belts, couplings, diaphragms etc.

**Skills/Requirements**:

- Familiarity of working on low-voltage equipment, ultra low control voltage and 3 phase equipment
- Experience of electric and inverter motor starters, plus DC experience.
- Familiarity with motor testing
- PLC Program and fault finding. Ideally Allen Bradley and Siemens (S7+Logo).
- Ability to fault find and repair electronic PCB’s would be advantageous.
- Welding and machining would be advantageous.
- Ideally from a FMGC, Paper and Textile background.
