**Multi Skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer Electrical bias |Above market Salary | Excellent Shift Pattern |Greater Manchester**

I am working on a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Skilled shift Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) to join my clients expanding Engineering department. This role will develop the maintenance team, to add support to the preventative maintenance schedulesand projects whilst increasing the manufacturer’s operational efficiency.
- Ensuring all machinery performs to optimum production with mínimal breakdowns.
- Ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose as required and maintained to high safety standards.
- Work proactively within a team and independently to carry out completion of Planned Reliability Maintenance Inspections and Tasks to a high standard.
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding. Using practical problem-solving skills to provide a fast solution.
- Engage in Lean Maintenance Improvement Initiatives using CI and Lean techniques. Play an active role in CI projects taking the lead where appropriate.
- Competent use of CMMS system to plan work.
- Ensuring clear and concise communication both written & verbal to all levels of the organisation.

**Requirements**:

- Apprenticeship & ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Engineering.
- Reliable, flexible and with a can-do attitude.
- You should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working on high volume production lines.
- Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical control systems.
- You should have strong Multi-Skilled Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance fault finding capabilities.
- Able to read both electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Able to fault find and basic PLC programming advantageous.
- To work within a flexible team environment.
- The ability to multitask and work to strict deadlines within a FMCG environment.
