An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, multi-tasking and enthusiastic PMO Administrator, with excellent administrative skills to join our newly established team to support our exciting Estates Redevelopment Programme for all of our hospital and Community Estates.

The appointee will play a pivotal part in supporting the Programme Director and the program office by co-ordinating diaries, managing project meeting groups and overall administrative and secretarial support to the newly established team.

Previous experience in supporting programme projects desired.

This job role requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with excellent planning and organisational skills to assist and support the work of Trust’s Project Management Office [PMO] by providing comprehensive project support, organisational and administrative skills to a high standard.

The post holder will be required to assist with the development and implementation of projects led by the Project Managers within the PMO. There will be a mix of projects to deliver the Estate Redevelopment Program, for the three workstreams for QEH, UHL and the Community, as well as task and finish orientated projects that are required on an ad hoc basis.

The role will also involve effective diary management, through the co-ordination and arrangement of PMO team meetings, taking of minutes and preparing accurate first drafts to present to the Project Managers and Programme Director, making appropriate meeting room bookings and ensuring relevant papers are co-ordinated in terms of collation, circulation and printing in a timely manner.

The post-holder will also be asked to assist in the management of Redevelopment Programme Board, and Programme Steering Group meetings.

There will be a requirement to deal with telephone enquiries, recording and prioritising messages and taking the necessary action to ensure good communications, in an appropriately confidential manner.

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is a community focused provider of local and acute care, providing high quality services to over one million people living across the London boroughs of Lewisham, Greenwich and Bexley. With a turnover of around £700 million, we provide services at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, University Hospital Lewisham and a range of community settings in Lewisham. We also provide some services at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup.

We’ve also significantly increased the representation of minority ethnic leaders across our clinical and corporate teams.

Qualifications/ Training

Experience
- Administration and coordination experience
- Experience of arranging appointments and electronic diary management.
- IT literate with experience in Microsoft Office and databases
- Minute taking experience/skills
- Experience of working with mínimal supervision
- Previous experience of working in healthcare setting
