Driver Assessor

Culina Logistics is the leading 3rd party UK logistics business specialising in chilled warehousing providing an excellent platform for food and drink manufactures.

Offering defined career path opportunities to enhance and develop your skills and experience, we are recruiting for an Driver Assessor to work at our Sutton-in-Ashfield depot on a full time, permanent contract.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, 30 minute paid break

We are looking to add a Driver Assessor to our team to support our increasing needs, both for testing new colleagues to our team and to ensure our current team are utilising the best techniques to maximise their performance.

The role will be ad-hoc as required with normal driving duties completed when not required in the assessor role. In addition to your normal driving duties you will also be responsible for:

- Supporting the site Driver Trainer with driving assessments
- SSOW training
- Microlise retraining
- Post Accident Assessments

**Qualifications**

Skills & Competencies:

- A full, valid and clean driving licence
- An excellent Tachograph Infringement record
- An excellent accident record
- Can demonstrate good driving techniques
- A regular top scorer on Mircolise
- Able to direct and advise drivers on best practice
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, driver compliance and documentation completion
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to effectively communicate suggestions and improvements to the driver and advise the Driver Trainer/ Transport Management
- Able to work without direct supervision
- Conscientious and reliable
