One of our Council’s priorities is focused on “a highly skilled and engaged workforce, supporting the delivery of our services. The postholder will be a part of our senior leadership team as the lead in this area and will be responsible for the delivery of the new People Strategy agreed in March 2024.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced HR & OD leader to drive this service forward, to continue to improve and build on the success we have achieved to date.

If successful you will play a pivotal role in supporting and advising the Chief Executive and Chief Officer group on workforce related matters.

This post reports into the Chief Executive, as part of the Chief Executives Services function, which also includes the function Performance, Improvement & Partnerships
