Job Scope
To support the HR and payroll team ensuring all employee changes and movements are processed in a timely and accurate manner, and that all documentation is provided or received and records are accurate and up to date.
You will also play a key role in ad hoc support to the team on a variety of issues and projects across a range of areas covered in the department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build effective working relationships with staff at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice
- Support and advise on disciplinary and grievance matters including investigations, suspensions and hearings.
- Manage short term absence including the recording, coordination of return to work interviews, absence trigger monitoring and associated disciplinary matters
- Manage long term absence cases including welfare recording, occupational health, regular contact and any associated capability case management.
- Coordinate and support on all site-based recruitment as directed by the HR Business Partner or Head of HR, including the posting of jobs internally and externally and organising interviews
- Manage the onboarding process for successful applicants including devising induction plans
- Producing and sending offer letters and contracts for all new employees in a timely manner.
- Maintain the HR Master Spreadsheet, ensuring all paperwork is returned and complete within a timely manner
- Ensure right to work is established for all new employees and received in HR on or before the start date. Advise managers as necessary on the appropriate documents required
- Key point of contact for temporary labour relationship management for the Corwen & Wrexham sites, liaising with all approved recruitment agencies.
- Work with the company trainer to identify and address training and development needs.
- Work with leaders and managers to identify any capability issues and support in devising improvement/support plans as required.
- Manage the leaver process for all Corwen & Wrexham employees including drafting acknowledgement letters, conducting exit interviews and communicating issues as required.
- Generate monthly people related KPIs for the Corwen & Wrexham sites.
- Ensure all data is accurate and up to date and provide accurate and timely reports as and when required.
- Process all changes to contract data in the Master Spreadsheet in conjunction with the HR Business Partner and produce letters for all changes to contracts
- Work alongside and cover as necessary for the other HR Advisor role ensuring there is always cover and support for any HR queries/tasks.
- Assist with other general HR tasks to support team during absence or busy periods
- Engage in promoting the core values of the business at all times.
- Various other ad hoc duties as required
- Responsible for food safety
Skills Required:
Qualifications & knowledge
- L5 CIPD qualified or working towards or relevant equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of UK employment law and emerging trends in litigation
