Welder

**Hours of work**: Monday to Thursday 7.25am to 4.25pm

Fridays 7.25am to 12.25pm

Overtime available

**General purpose**:
To fabricate metal parts and weld seams using MIG and TIG welding processes. Welding usually consists of around 1.2mm - 10mm Stainless Steel.

To consult with technical drawings/ job packs to execute welds to the correct specification

To follow technical drawings and specifications and inspect equipment and structures.

To follow and maintain knowledge of safety protocols.
- Maintain high levels of fabrication and welding to appropriate standards
- Comply with the companies ISO-9001-2008 policy on all aspects including requisition of welding consumables
- Have a willingness to develop coding for Nuclear standards of welding
- Work as part of a wider team and guide colleagues on equipment as and when required
- Carry out any additional tasks that fall within your competency as directed
- Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity and quality

Pay: Up to £16.49 per hour

- Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
