**Summary of Role**

Etex are seeking a FLT Driver (Factory) to join the EOS team based in Newton Aycliffe

£10.15 hourly rate, increasing to £10.65 after probation
- Working within the manufacturing teams to assist with keeping machine efficiency at optimum levels, by manoeuvring packs produced by machines into correct loading bays. This role requires an attention to detail and the ability to read dispatch boards and work in a fast-paced environment.- EOS work in accordance with the company’s current environmental, health and safety and quality management systems.- Must have relevant experience in using counterbalance truck up to 5000kg.- Experience using combi lift are advantageous but not essential.- The role requires working within a team and lone working on a regular basis.**Reporting Line**
- Reporting to Factory Team Leaders**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Ensuring our 6 machines are kept running by:
- Banding packs / materials
- Numbering packs / materials accordingly
- Clearing trestles end of line in a timely and safe manner
- Emptying skips and scrap stillages on end of machines
- Checking packs for any defect or damage prior to being placed in loading bays
- Ensuring packs are stacked safely in the correct yard bay
- Ensuring packs are placed in correct yard bay for dispatch
- Rearranging and restacking of bays as and when required to ensure bay spaces are fully utilised
- **Other Requirements**:

- General housekeeping and labouring duties
- Banksman duties as and when required for good in and out
- To work in a safe manner in accordance with company policies
- To complete pre use daily FLT check sheets
- Clearing assembly area.**Learning and Development**
- To undertake regular self-development using company systems
- Attend any training courses which the company requires to fulfil and develop in you roleHealth and Safety
- To use the Etex EHS app to log near misses, safety conversations and other general health and safety topics.
