To provide a comprehensive reception and clerical service for the health and wellbeing team as part of a multidisciplinary team in the co-ordination, provision and delivery of an effective high quality health & wellbeing service to the men at HMP Berwyn.

HMP Berwyn is based in beautiful North Wales near to the historic city of Chester.

By car it is approximately 20 minutes from Chester, 40 minutes from Liverpool, Warrington and Shropshire. Free onsite parking and gym facilities are provided

Health and wellbeing services are provided seven days a week day throughout the year.

Our team includes GP’s, Team managers, Nurses and HCA’s; emergency care is an MDT approach and all our clinical staff are trained to deliver intermediate life support (ILS). Pharmacy is managed by our pharmacist and supported by technicians and assistants.
