With over 30 years' experience, they've built up the reputation of one of the most respected and established printing companies in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to get started in the Print industry.
**The Role**
- To liaise with and debrief with your number 1 printer on any material factors which adversely impact, disrupt or interfere with the smooth running of scheduled work activity
- To provide the Production Managers with reliable and accurate information relevant to the daily production schedules, highlighting any issues which may prevent the timescales within the production schedules being achieved
- To fully adhere to ISO 9001 and 14001 procedures including the use and understanding of FSC/PEFC paper and paperwork
- To do everything possible to ensure that work produced is right first time and the product is of an excellent standard that meets or exceeds company / customer expectations
- Ensuring that all work produced is defect free and conforms to the required specifications
- Working to the most up to date schedule, being aware of possible updates.
- Being aware of your surroundings always, particularly when moving reels with the electric truck
- Running with the correct size end boards, and the impact on the Bindery if the wrong boards have been used. Managing end boards in your area, keeping the levels stocked up and neatly stacked in the correct colour coded bays
- To identify, determine and report both operator maintenance and maintenance department requirements and to adhere to maintenance schedules
- To undertake any other duties or responsibilities as may be required of you from time to time
