Interim Senior Product and Programme Manager

An industry leading online ecommerce organisation are looking to hire a high impact, goals focused Interim Senior Product and Programme Manager to deliver in the role of Head of Product and Programme for an initial 6-month FTC or via a day rate contract.This role will own and drive mission critical projects and initiatives.Identifying and owning an ambitious roadmap, this role will help to deliver excellence across every touchpoint for a broad range of premium / high quality consumer facing and corporatefacing products.

**As an Interim Senior Product and Programme Manager, you will**:

- Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to gather, understand and prioritise roadmap requirements and delivery plans
- Engage regularly at executive level to ensure that the roadmap and prioritisation meets the needs of the business and growth strategy
- Manage a small team busy translating high level requirements (both functional and non-functional) into user stories and acceptance criteria for delivery.
- Use market analysis and data insights to identify growth and development opportunities to improve digital Customer Experience (CX) and website functionality with a focus on increased sales
- Collaborate and interact with multi-disciplined technical / development teams to improve and develop processes and their underpinning technologies
- Keep a close commercial eye on delivery costs, benefits, and timelines.
- Contribute to a clear customer experience (CX) vision and associated technology strategy working closely with the wider teams
- Help facilitate decision making with stakeholders and the agile development team.
- Investigate solutions using a range of approaches, including researching competitor products, commercially available platforms, and potential partners.
- Understand, analyse, and document current processes to identify and propose opportunities for improvement.
- Gain approval and adoptions of projects through demos and user acceptance testing.
- Lead best practice in the team and develop business analysis discipline.

**We are looking for an Interim Senior Product and Programme Manager who has the following skills and experiences**:

- With a strong background in ecommerce, and commercially aware, you’re a champion of the customer with a 100% focus on meeting their needs whilst driving business value
- Proven Product delivery principles working in an Agile / Scrum environment with a deep understanding of full online software delivery life cycle and process optimization
- Ability to understand and develop Customer Experience Management Lifecycles (CX)
- An interest and understanding of relevant technologies, especially content management (CMS), ecommerce and CRM systems
- Ability to quickly understand business issues and technical challenges on a project, and work proactively to resolve issues and mitigate project risks
- Ability to clearly communicate concepts and ideas to stakeholders, including oral and written presentations, proposals, specifications, and reports.
- Ability to simplify complex problems, processes or projects into component parts and be able to explore and evaluate them systematically
- Working in and organising multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively.
- Value and outcome driven, with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Experience working in small to medium businesses with a very high rate of change.
- Interpret data to make evidence-based decisions.
