**Location Rugby - this role is predominantly based onsite.**

**Duration: 12 Months**

**Rate: Up to £30 p/hour PAYE or Umbrella**

My client is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their Rugby based team. This position would suit an experienced Advisor who is looking to take their next step into a more HR Managerial based role.

**Responsibilities**
- Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business
- Reviewing and updating job descriptions in line with business strategy
- Coaching and advising People Leaders on employee relations matters
- Coaching and advising People Leaders on developing their teams and executing the company processes in relation to performance evaluation
- Maintaining accurate data in Workday and payroll tools
- Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data
- First point of contact for employees and people leaders for HR issues, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations
- Supporting the HR team with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary and the management of long-term absences
- Driving the business performance in relation to the organisation's objectives
- Likely to be CIPD Intermediate level with a related qualification
- Supporting individual consultations in relation to organisational changes
- Supporting regular transactional processes such as payroll submissions, AHP
- Accurate administration of contractual changes because of organisational changes

**Key Technical Competencies**
- Organisational and administrative skills
- Proven work experience as an HR advisor, HR officer or similar role
- Ability to advise and work with senior members of staff
- Hands-on experience with IT programmes and HR systems
- Knowledge of employment legislation
- Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
- Driven and determined
- Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly
- Experience working in a unionised environment
- High integrity and loyalty
- Ability to deal with conflicts and difficult conversation
- Responsibility for medium sized client group and HR admin related to business organisational changes
