**Summary**

Our team in Stevenage is very pleased and happy to be able to add to their current team for a Quality Inspector. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are delivered to our customers right first time, every time through a range of in process and final inspection operations.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor, test, and inspect products to ensure they meet specified standards, are free of flaws, and function as designed.
- Using a range of inspection including visual inspection and first principles using tools such as micrometres, callipers, gauges, volt meters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electronic inspection equipment to aid in quality inspections and assessments.
- Participate in the development of testing and inspection activities associated with product development and all stages of manufacturing.
- Measure and analyse Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) outputs (Laser Tracker).
- Assess incoming product to determent extent of repair required.
- Completion of internal and customer paperwork to satisfy delivery requirements.
- Develop and complete FAIR documentation.
- Participate in root cause analysis initiatives for process-related concerns.

**Qualifications**
- 3 years or more of relevant experience is required depending on the complexity level of the job.
- Experience within Quality Inspection is a must, with the added benefit of Engineering.
- Experience within a regulated industry eg Aerospace, Automotive, Medical etc beneficial.
- Knowledge of quality engineering processes and regulatory requirements is essential.
- Customer orientated.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to proactively identify and solve problems.
- Able to interpret internal/external business challenges and make recommendations for improvements to products, processes, or services.
- Confident when explaining a range of complex technical information.
- Capable to gather data, compile information, and preparing reports.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook.
