**Position Summary**
Out team in Stevenage is very pleased and happy to be able to add to their current team for a Quality Inspector. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for many objectives in your role, such as: Operate under general direction, monitors, tests, and inspects products to ensure they meet specified standards, are free of flaws, and function as designed.
**Responsibilities**
- Monitor, test, and inspect products to ensure they meet specified standards, are free of flaws, and function as designed. May work in laboratory settings running tests and duplicating real-world conditions, using tools such as micrometers, callipers, gauges, volt meters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electronic inspection equipment to aid in quality inspections and assessments.
- Program and run the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) machines (Laser Tracker).
- Participate in root cause and corrective action (RCCA)activities such as A3 and 8D’s.
- Create and Complete paperwork such as Process Maps, PPAP, Control Plans and FMEAs.
**Qualifications**
- 3 years or more of relevant experience is required depending on the complexity level of the job.
- Experience within Quality Inspection is a must, with the added benefit of Engineering
- Knowledge of quality engineering processes and regulatory requirements is essential.
- Customer orientated.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to proactively identify and solve problems.
- Able to interpret internal/external business challenges and make recommendations for improvements to products, processes, or services.
- Confident when explaining a range of complex technical information.
- Capable to gather data, compile information, and preparing reports.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and database management tools.
