A truly global firm, has a vacancy for a Junior **HR Business Partner** to act as a first point of contact for UK based colleagues, providing high quality comprehensive generalist advice and guidance in your allocated divisions, with a strong emphasis on transformation to support the delivery of key Business/ HR deliverables. Youwill also have responsibility for your own client group, contributing to the delivery excellence in people management while working closely with the HR BP. The role is initially a 12 month maternity contract.
You will be working within a large, highly collaborative HR team who will fully utilise your wealth of HR expertise. The company are experiencing exciting growth plans, while the HR team are actively involved in a range of projects and continuous improvementinitiatives. **Junior HR Business Partner Duties**:
Act as the key point of contact and work closely with management teams to understand their strategy and key objectives, and determine the people implications with the guidance of the HR Business Partner
- Promote overall approach to people development and wellbeing;
- Collaborate with the Academy to deliver timely and appropriate learning interventions;
- Work with line managers to identify and develop potential, ensure that robust performance and people development plans are in place and participate in succession planning activities;
- Support the recruitment process and help to build our reputation as an employer of choice;
- In conjunction with the HR BP ensure that on-boarding processes are best in class and are completed consistently.
**With the HR Business Partner and their allocated divisions**:
- Provide support on activities that will deliver the people strategies including supporting on larger scale organisational change exercise
- Work closely with the HR BP to ensure open and timely communication on issues within their areas of responsibility;
- Proactively use MI Reports to identify trends and patterns, highlighting any issues; Employee Attrition, Exit Interview Data, Absence, Performance etc.
- Case management including providing advice, guidance, and support on performance management, disciplinary, absence, capability, and grievance issues, escalating more complex matters through to the HR Business Partner;
- Responsible for absence management, carrying out monthly review of absence data and providing proactive advice to managers in connection with attendance and performance issues;
- Liaise with occupational health providers in terms of ill-health referrals or general support/counselling;
**HR Business Partner Experience**
- You will be an experienced HR professional with minimum level 5 CIPD / degree (or working towards)
- Experience working in a HR generalist role where trusted relationships imperative to success
- Have good all round Employee Relations experience and up to date knowledge of UK Employment Law
- Able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the employee life cycle
- Location: Hatfield 2 days per a week plus home working_
- Hours: 9am -5pm (agile working available)_
