We cultivate and nurture an extensive range of plants in our Nursery which is situated behind our Old Barn Garden Centre. To support the growth of our Nursery we are looking to expand our Nursery Team. We are looking for a team player who is passionate and hard working and who thrives on delivering great customer service. This is an exciting and varied role which offers the opportunity of working both in an office and outdoors.

Administration Key Duties
- Managing all aspects of Passfield software system, which includes sales, purchasing, stock control and monthly reports.
- Supporting the administration with regards to general running of the business and health & safety compliance.
- Daily communication with head office, suppliers, customers, lorry drivers and contractors.
- Quality and quantity control of plants at dispatch.
- The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks when required

Nursery Key Duties
- General maintenance and plant care - includes watering, weeding, pruning, cleaning etc.
- Plant production: Potting by hand or machine
- Sales processing: By cleaning plants at dispatch

Prerequisites
- Your capabilities
- Ability to work both inside and outside in varied weather conditions
- You must be able to bend, lift and pull/push trolleys with plants.
- Ability to work as a member of a team or on your own
- Be able to operate in a fast paced commercial environment
- A keen interest in plants and related products, and current experience of growing within a commercial environment

**Prerequisites**:

- Experience of working in a production nursery, Garden Centre or similar environment is essential
- Good communication, attention to detail and able to prioritise tasks are essential.
- A good knowledge of Outlook, Excel (Intermediate level) is essential.
- Knowledge of Passfields software would be desirable.

**Duration**:
Full time.
