**What does it mean to be a Howarth Timber & Building Supplies Customer Service Assistant**

You will also complete all daily K8 Administration (i.e. daily banking, order processing, refunds if needed (branch and dept) and invoices) and be involved in competitor research, ie. Price comparison and UX on competitor websites within our industry.

**Customer Service Assistant role responsibilities**
- Replying to and directing social media enquiries
- Liaising with users with website issues
- Live web chat liaison
- Making outbound calls to customers
- Organising deliveries where applicable
- Taking credit/debit card payments over the phone
- Placing online orders
- Logging and forwarding quotations from customers
- Processor and gatekeeper for company complaints
- Daily banking and cash analysis
- Processing orders, invoices, credits, goods receiving, and refunds in K8
- Complete online training modules as required

**What are the requirements to be part of our team?**
- Excellent customer service skills and experience; knowing what great service feels like to our customers is really important to us
- Excellent telephone and all-round communication skills
- Strong proficiency in written English
- Good PC skills including Microsoft Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-13 months

Pay: £25,400.00-£27,000.00 per year
