We are recruiting on behalf of a provision in Morpeth and require an exceptional, friendly and Motivated Teaching Assistant to work Mon
- Friday 8.30-3.30pm. This provider strives to provide a safe, conducive learning environment for young people in secondary education. Their focus is to provide an engaging and enlightening learning experience which promotes each young person's social, emotion and cognitive development ultimately to inspire young people and their desire to be life-long learners.
They offer a variety of courses along with Maths and English and your role will be to support individual learners and across sessions with small groups.
Challenging SEN Provisions, Youth/ Community/ Social services, Residential Support, Ex Military/ Police/ Prison/ security services or Mental Health Support Services (including CRISIS or Suicide prevention), Sports Coaching or any relevant voluntary roles.

The provision has a great reputation and the team you will be working in are motivated, friendly and supportive. The role requires Monday to Friday commitment with a working day of 8.30-3.30pm. As with all of our long term roles there is always the possibility of securing a permanent role once contractual obligations are fulfilled

Person Specification:

- Experienced in supporting children (3-16)
- Great rapport builder
- Good level of academic ability
- Calm kind and positive - very proactive
- Organised and able to take instruction
- Can participate in, manage, and assist struggling pupils in small intervention groups or 1:1 academic session
- Check-able work history

Interviews and trials are taking place right now for this exciting opportunity, with a view to commencing the role ASAP.
In addition to that, we are currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants.
