**About the role**:
Our number one aim is to prevent homelessness wherever possible and within this role you will be looking at a range of early interventions that we may offer to customers to prevent a homeless crisis situation developing.
You will promote and deliver a broad range of early interventions in areas such as negotiating with family and friends, negotiating with landlords or agents, providing basic budgeting and debt advice, negotiating with lenders and other agencies. The list isn’t exhaustive and the role will require you to be use all your skills to get the best outcome for your clients.
**About you**:
You will use your initiative as well as your negotiation and persuasion skills to identify how best to get a positive result and prevent a homelessness situation developing. A knowledge, understanding and experiencing of working in a related housing role may be beneficial but is not essential as the role will focus heavily on your skill in building relationships with customers and other relevant partners and agencies, as well as problem solving and delivering positive outcomes. A positive and enthusiastic attitude, together with excellent communication and negotiation skills that inspire trust, respect and credibility will help you achieve your goals.
