**Summary**:
The Cyber Defence and Risk organisation (CyDR) is at the forefront of Cyber Security and Information Technology within Defence. The team plays a vital component in protecting MOD and national security. CyDR is responsible for enabling Defence through the provision of specialist assurance and cyber security services across the Department. This includes our industry partners, other Government Departments, including NCSC, and our international allies.

CyDR sits within the Defence Digital team who provide digital and technology services to our Armed Forces. Defence Digital operates at scale, with an annual budget in excess of £2Bn and a diverse team of 2,500 colleagues, it aims to make our Armed Forces some of the most technologically advanced in the world.

**Job description**:

- In order to respond effectively to the human dimension of cyber-security risk, Defence delivers a broad program of work which focusses on impacting identified risky behaviours, both directly and measurably.
- The Behavioural Interventions workstream of the Cyber Awareness, Behaviours, and Culture (CyAB&C) team achieve this, by delivering an annual program of interventions against a set methodology. Each intervention targets a single behavioural objective within a single target audience and seeks to measurably impact that risk within a set timeframe.-
- In addition to this, the CyAB&C Interventions lead is also responsible for the annual delivery of the Priority Risk Behaviours List (PRBL) exercises and ongoing development of the behavioural intervention methodology and practices.
- We’ll provide training and development to gain a (CISMP) Certificate in Information Security Management Principles (or for those who wish to refresh their knowledge) and support you in undertaking further learning and development opportunities, within your field and beyond.

- The CyAB&C Interventions Lead will be expected to:
- Deliver a collaboratively agreed number of behavioural interventions on an annual basis.
- Deliver an ongoing schedule of catalogue interventions, including but not limited to Malicious Floorwalker and Phishing exercises.
- Own the CyAB&C catalogue, ensuring it grows and is maintained.
- Deliver the annual PRBL exercise.
- Continually seek opportunities for methodology and performance development.
- Collaborate with other CyAB&C workstreams to support the delivery of training and awareness material.
- Occasionally present at Defence, cross-government, industry and academic conferences and events where required.
- Support the tender process as a SME bid assessor when establishing new contracts.

Although the post does not currently contain line management duties, the team is growing, and this may become a requirement in the future.

- Desirable qualifications and experience:
- Post-graduate qualification in a behavioural science
- CISMP or equivalent - training provided
- Previous experience of conducting socio-behavioural analysis.

Dependent on the ‘tasking’ and business need, there may be a requirement to travel to meetings within the UK (or potentially occasional overseas visits). This post does not offer any assistance with relocation allowances. This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
- Location: The post will be based at RAF Wyton, Huntingdon.
- This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station which is based on business assessment of where the work is best done) and working from home as a personal choice (if the role is suitable for this). If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.-
