**The role**

My client, a Digital Agency, are looking for a Solutions Engineer for an initial 2-month contract. The role will start at the beginning of January, so this is a great opportunity to beat the January hiring rush and secure a role now. **Applicants must be UK based.**

**Responsibilities**
- As the Solutions Engineer, you will gather client and internal project requirements and design and build appropriate solutions, collaborating with others across the agency.
- Writing and managing project specifications and documentation suitable for audiences with different levels of technical understanding.
- Maintain and extend existing systems and processes, seeking optimisation and automation where possible.

**What's required?**
- 3-5 years' experience in a Solutions Engineer role or similar: experience in data or software engineering may be suitable also.
- Excellent skills in Python and SQL (essential)
- PHP and/or Java (beneficial)
- Excellent problem solving skills for overcoming technically complex challenges.
- Excellent organisational skills for managing projects, documentation, tasks and changing priorities.
