Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for a Programmes Admin Officer to join our client within the education sector, initially on a temporary basis, to undertake the Administration of all academic programmes and be the first point of contact for programmesdelivered in Qatar.
This role provides high level customer service to students and staff, ensures academic programmes are administered in line with the relevant academic regulations and processes and that all relevant activities are completed within institutional deadlines.
As the Programmes Admin Officer, You will work in a professional team, liaising closely with academic and administrative colleagues to provide a consistent and responsive customer service to students, academic staff and external partners. Excellent liaisonand organisational skills are a priority in order to co-ordinate processes across the board and with relevant business units such as the Higher Education and Academic Delivery, Sales, Marketing and Recruitment, Production and Facilities to ensure an excellentservice delivery to all students.
You will also
- Administer academic programmes (including those associated with our international delivery arrangements) with a consistent and robust approach whilst adhering to Academic Regulations and processes.
- Provide excellent customer service, handling enquiries relating to academic programmes, maintaining an in depth knowledge of Academic Regulations and offering advice and guidance to students and staff.
- Assist in maintaining and archiving paper and electronic records as required, programme information, and records of student assessment processes
- Support validation processes for new or existing programmes and ongoing robust management of programmes.
- Develop an in depth knowledge of the organisation and the validating partner’s academic regulations, policies and procedures, and to provide pro-active management of academic programme processes.
- Provide support as and when appropriate to pre-registration, enrolment and induction activities, attendance monitoring, assessment and retention activities for programmes being delivered internationally
**Experience**:
- An understanding of the student-related academic cycle and administrative processes within a Higher Education/Further Education/Private Training Provider setting is desirable
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, enter, process and manage data accurately and efficiently for various reporting purposes, both internally and externally
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, and in particular high level skills in Excel to manage complex spreadsheets and data.
- Ability to learn and develop new administrative systems as appropriate and take a proactive approach to managing academic programmes.
City Centre based, full time hours, £22,000-£24,000 dependent on experience. Must be available to start ASAP.
