**Overview**

We are forming a new on-shore team within Procurement and we now have exciting opportunities for Procurement Operations Specialists. Reporting to the Procurement Operations Manager, this role will be key in ensuring operational procurement runs efficiently and sites can operate with agility.

The role is mostly remote with the need to travel to our Head Office in Chippenham for one day every two weeks.

**How you will contribute?**
- Maintain procurement master data within key systems, including Oracle supplier master, compliance tools and the contract database;
- Maintain procurement process documentation, ensuring it is kept up to date, reviewed in line with requirements and processes are continually improved;
- Manage new supplier onboarding, monitor compliance and develop clear supplier guidance
- Support Wincanton colleagues with requisition/PO queries, amendments, reassignments and assist with development of self-help tools and guidance for requesters/buyers and suppliers
- Assist with all policy documentation, including the Procurement Policy, Supplier Management Framework and Supplier Code of Conduct, ensuring it is fit for purpose and is updated on an annual basis;
- Assist with regular reporting requirements
- Monitor and action exception requisitions/PO’s with status pending
- Build relationships with internal control functions including Internal Audit, Risk, Data Protection, IT Security, Health & Safety and Finance Systems;
- Assist with development and maintenance of a Supplier Assurance Framework to ensure controls (including supplier insurances, adherence to modern slavery, right to work, bribery & corruption etc.) are regularly tested / reviewed and suppliers are adhering to Wincanton minimum standards;
- Review and update the Procurement intranet page and Oracle and assist with development of wider communication strategy;
- Ensure supplier master data is regularly reviewed, cleansed and consolidated in liaison with Wincanton colleagues

**What you will bring?**
- Previous experience with ERP systems and P2P processes desirable, with a focus on Procurement functions;
- Proven track record in delivering continuous improvement;
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain transparent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A self-starter with ability to gain knowledge quickly;
- High level of attention to detail and competent in data analysis
- Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to manage changing priorities aligned to business requirements.
