Contract Scotland has a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional to join our client, an established business based in Bathgate. This is a full time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and the chance to work as part of a busy HR team.

This is an office based role and you will work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

You will be reporting into a knowledgeable and supportive HR Manager and will support the business with a wide range of HR tasks which include:

- Providing comprehensive and practical HR advice and support to managers and employees in line with organisational policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Supporting and managing disciplinary, grievance and performance cases, taking notes throughout
- Managing casework relating to sickness absence and participating in each stage of the process
- Dealing with the recruitment cycle from initial discussion with hiring Managers to sending offer letters
- Encouraging and supporting employees in their development and training.
- Keeping up to date with developments in employment legislation, updating policies and procedures and communicating this and HR best practice to managers
- Acting as a key contact for all HR issues and delivering an efficient and timely response to problems
- Responding to benefits related queries from employees
- Presenting and reviewing the Company Induction process in line with new starter commencement dates and ensuring all the relevant new starter paperwork is collated
- Updating HR systems
- All related administration tasks

You will be qualified to CIPD Level 3 or above and will have experience from working in a similar position. You will enjoy working in a fast paced environment and will be comfortable developing good working relationships with the Senior Management team.
