We are looking for enthusiastic, talented and highly motivated Principle Palynologist to join our Geology team based in North Wales
**Principle Accountabilities**
- Independently review and integrate biostratigraphic data, providing insightful interpretations and sequence stratigraphic correlations using software like Stratabugs and IC.
- Lead the strategic integration of AI/ML technologies into fossil identification and interpretation workflows.
- Create professional reports summarizing findings, delivering valuable insights into basin evolution, regional geology, stratigraphy, and palynology.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in various technical disciplines, including seismic interpretation, to gain comprehensive subsurface insights.
- Coordinate and manage projects involving diverse data sets and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to deadlines and objectives.
- Mentor and coach junior staff, fostering their professional development.
- Stay at the forefront of the field by identifying and implementing data and technology advancements that optimize processes and drive commercial success.
- Possess a deep understanding of the energy sector, with a particular focus on the ongoing energy transition.
- Lead wellsite palynology assignments, managing logistics and effectively communicating with the onsite team.
- Develop and deliver training programs for both internal and external audiences.
- Contribute to business development initiatives for CGG, leveraging expertise to secure new opportunities.

**Qualifications**
Educated to Degree, Masters or PhD degree level in any of the following disciplines**:Geology or Stratigraphy**
