**As the Cardiac Theatre Team Leader, you will**:
**Be the clinical expert**: Uphold and elevate the standards of patient care within our cardiac theatres, ensuring every patient receives the highest quality treatment.

All non-clinical roles may involve a mixture of on site and remote working, Specific details and flexible working options can be discussed as part of the interview process. **Your roles and responsibilities**:
**Lead and inspire**: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leading inter-professional teams in developing knowledge, ideas, and innovative work practices.
**Clinical expertise and patient care**: Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate personalized, patient-centred care, while acting as a clinical expert and mentor to colleagues.
**Drive quality and safety**: Lead on standard setting, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical governance, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice and Trust policies.
**Manage and develop your team**: Line manage direct reports, including all aspects of recruitment, retention, performance, and create a supportive environment for learning and growth.
**Resource management and service improvement**: Coordinate resources to ensure safe and efficient patient care, actively identify and implement service improvements, and manage budgets effectively.
