**Technical Support Engineer**

**Location of the Job**:Office-based role in Oxfordshire, with travel required throughout the UK.

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Paying between £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary depending on experience.
- 20 Days Holiday plus Bank holidays (minimum).

**Additional information**:

- This is a permanent full-time position.
- Working Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm.
- No weekend work required.
- Full training on all products and services will be provided as necessary.

A leading provider of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment. You will be working in partnership with the dealer network, contractors, local authorities, landscapers' fruit, horticultural and amenity sectors. This Company is committed to helping customers manage their businesses more efficiently and more profitably.

**The Job Role Details**:
You will be responsible for supporting the dealer network and end-user customers with training, support and demonstrations.

**Key Responsibilities:
**You will**
- Provide technical training to dealers and end users.
- Support deals and end users with any technical issues.
- Product maintenance and repair.
- Assist with major demonstrations.
- Research customer issues and where required perform on-site troubleshooting and subsequent warranty tasks.
- Due to the nature of the small team, there will be occasions where support of the office team in various other roles will be required.
**Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
**You will have / be**
- A good understanding of groundcare or horticultural equipment.
- A keen interest in electrics and battery tools.
- Willing to travel and stay away overnight for work.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Good knowledge of Excel and able to design and deliver PowerPoint presentations as required.
- There will be a need to travel overseas so a valid passport and a willing to travel to mainland Europe may be required.
