We have a fantastic opportunity within our procurement team for someone looking for an active and fast paced role supporting the NHS at the William Harvey Hospital.

This role focuses on delivering crucial PPE and other vital materials to the various clinical teams all around the hospital site.

It's physically demanding and very rewarding. You'll be speaking with the various teams in the hospital about what they need from a materials perspective each day and making sure that they are fully stocked and have the appropriate equipment to perform their jobs properly. You must be quick to pick things up, driven and a self-motivated individual who aims to deliver the upmost customer care and focus.

This opportunity focuses around the receiving, checking, receipting and distribution of goods and equipment, providing a well-managed, timely, stock management service for the hospital. Further responsibilities include:

- To assist with the reordering and put away of ward and departmental stocks, ensuring processing of requisitions using automatic data capture for orders in accordance with user requirements, following agreed procedures.
- To provide assistance, guidance and advice to clinical and support staff, and deal promptly with user queries and complaints related to the service and products supplied, ensuring effective supply chain management at all times.
- A good level of IT knowledge and ideally have experience working with management systems and databases.
- Good organisation is paramount to this position and you must have a process-driven and methodical approach to your work.
- Strong team working ability if important, we pride ourselves on our tight knit team and willingness to help and support others.
- Previous data input and analysis experience is very helpful.
- Qualifications in logistics management, procurement or customer services are desirable but not essential.
