As a result of our continued success, we are now recruiting for a **Buying Assistant** to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has great telephone and organisations skills who would be looking to develop a career as a Buyer/Purchaser

Working on own initiative and as part of a team, your main duties will include,
- Monitor and expedite work orders to meet build plan and advise production when they are not achievable.
- You will be liaising with Buyers, Goods in/Stores and Suppliers to deliver accurate information.
- Assist with SAGE purchasing and ensure that correct materials are purchased with budgeted costs and on time, taking into account appropriate stock levels, attrition factors and any another consideration due to customer or internal requirements.
- Assist the Purchase team with any reports or administration as necessary.
- Progress outstanding purchase orders directly with suppliers.
- Resource and place additional purchase orders as necessary, including purchase orders for non-standard parts.
- A great team player with the ability to promote and help build a positive work environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
