**Position**: Buyer
**Location**: Coalisland (Cookstown / Dungannon area)
**Type**: Permanent

This role is **Monday-Friday 8am-5pm **with an **early finish Friday.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the acquisition of components and consumables, ensuring competitive pricing and timely deliveries within expected lead times.
- Regularly monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, considering supplier lead times, and place orders for key components when inventory is low.
- Continuously source components from various manufacturers for new or evolving requirements, verifying that purchases align with supplier price lists, and ensure discounts and quantity breaks are properly applied.
- Anticipate critical item needs by reviewing usage monthly and updating forecasts.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure better pricing and services, particularly for high-usage items.
- Coordinate with couriers for item collection and delivery, matching PODs to invoices and entering details into the system while resolving discrepancies.
- File supplementary declarations with TSS and assist with shop counter tasks.
- Previous experience in a purchasing department.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
