Major Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our well established manufacturing client who are based in Washington.

Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of custom building products, supplying both the building trade and customers. All items are crafted on site with varying metals and stone, then delivered and installed by our clients dedicated teams.

They are seeking a warehouse labourer to join their production and manufacturing team.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Reporting to the warehouse manager
- The labourer will be assisting a skilled labourer with the production and manufacture of steel products including panelling, fencing and concrete products
- The role will include the loading and unloading of steel sheets into heavy machinery, so heavy lifting will be required.
- Labourer will also ensure that the production line is well stocked and dispose of waste accordingly to company guidelines
- They will also be required to support the skilled labourer with detailed finishes on products, so some use of tools will be needed
- Experience with sheet metal or within a workshop is desirable but not essential
- Our client is looking for someone with a can do approach and a strong work ethic.

Shifts:

- Monday to Friday - 0800 to 1630

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: Up to £10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
