The role will be critical to the successful delivery of the project and the new service designed to support clientsin making savings and investment decisions that are right for them.

**Working style**We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home and coming into the office 1-2 times a week. Part time or condensed hours may beavailable for this role.

This role is for a dedicated expert to offer HL clients a new and exciting service currently called Augmented Advice.

We are seeking to close the advice gap for clients, supporting more investors to save and investment with confidence. This role will be involved in the project from Alpha through to launch of all phases of the project, and will act as the regulatory expertSME throughout, and, once the service is established. The role will work very closely with the project team, our Compliance, Risk and legal functions, including participating in discussions and working groups with the FCA. The regulatory advice team is a veryimportant part of the Client Function, reporting through to the Client Director, ensuring that we remain compliance with regulations and deliver great outcomes for our clients. We set direction and standards for Client Outcomes, Product Governance, 1st lineRegulatory advice.

**How you'll be doing it**
- Provision of expert guidance and advice to internal stakeholders and project teams and supporting teams throughout the project, implementation and execution.
- Responsible for regulatory review of marketing and other external documentation, including communication with the FCA.
- Responsible for horizon scanning and analysing current, new and draft regulation, legislation and guidance relevant to robo-advice, advice and guidance - working closely with other colleagues in the regulatory advice team and 2nd line compliance.
- Maintain and expand internal regulatory and technical guidance and training for internal teams as it relates to Next Gen Advisory & Guidance project and delivery.
- Provide training material and support delivery of Regulatory training within HL

**What we're looking for?**
- Ability to demonstrable regulatory knowledge and provide advice, guidance, robo-advice and/or investment platforms.
- Knowledge of FCA rules and regulations, in particular knowledge relating to the advice/guidance boundary or experience working on robo-advice would be beneficial
- 1st or 2nd line compliance or regulatory advice experience would be of an advantage
- Experience in regulatory implementation and/or regulatory projects either in an advisory or assurance role
- Experience in writing legislation and regulatory guidance for internal documentation such as policies and standards.
- Stakeholder management including Helpdesk, Senior Managers and regulators
