Due to our continued success and growth, we are looking for a **Workshop Co-ordinator for our Ramsbottom depot.**

**Workshop Co-ordinator**

A challenging and rewarding role for an experienced workshop co-ordinator who can oversee the maintenance and repair of a large fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Job Summary
- As a workshop Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring that the fleet of vehicles and equipment are in optimal condition and ready for hire.
- You will lead a team of technicians and mechanics, providing them with guidance, training, and support.
- You will also liaise with customers, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring that the workshop meets the quality and safety standards and complies with the relevant regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, schedule, and monitor the maintenance and repair of hire equipment, trailers, and other tools and machinery.
- Manage the workshop inventory, resources, and ensuring that the workshop is well-equipped and kept to a standard.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate the workshop staff, ensuring that they perform their duties effectively and safely.
- Ensure that the workshop adheres to the health and safety policies and procedures, and report any incidents or hazards.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and contractors, providing them with accurate and timely information and feedback.
- Keep records of the workshop activities, such as work orders, invoices, warranties, and service reports.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and innovation in the workshop processes and practices.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a workshop co-ordinator or a similar role in the vehicle and equipment hire industry.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Customer service and teamwork skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
