**About the Role**:
Humly is seeking a dedicated and proactive Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Preston on a full-time basis. In this role, you will support Year 4 students in the mornings and Year 3 students in the afternoons, assisting with general classroom tasks to enhance learning and support behaviour management. This position requires a patient and adaptable approach, particularly in the Year 4 class, where you will work with students who exhibit some behavioural challenges.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Classroom Assistance**: Provide general support to teachers, helping with lesson activities, resource preparation, and classroom organisation.
- **Behaviour Management**: Support students in maintaining focus and positive behaviour, particularly in the Year 4 class with specific behavioural needs.
- **Targeted Student Support**: Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce lesson objectives and aid in comprehension.
- **Flexible and Patient Approach**: Engage effectively with students in both Year 3 and Year 4, adapting to varying needs and encouraging a positive learning environment.

**What You Need**:

- **Experience in a Teaching Assistant Role**: Previous experience in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 settings is beneficial.
- **Strong Communication Skills**: Ability to engage with students and collaborate with teachers.
- **Adaptability and Patience**: A proactive approach to managing classroom challenges and supporting diverse student needs.
- **Enhanced DBS Check**: Required for this role.
