**Position**:Product Operations Executive
**Location**:Glasgow, Head office
**Job Type**:Full time, Permanent. Monday to Friday
**Salary**:Up to £24,500 DOE

**Purpose of Role**
The purpose of the role is to support and assist the Product Manager with the implementation and management of product development initiatives to enable the international roll out of the Espresso Warehouse (EW) portfolio.
This will involve interaction with internal departments (Marketing, Procurement, QA, Technical, Logistics). The role is also a point of contact for all EW TCS partner companies, TCS export and EW distributor markets for product enquiries.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Measure and report performance and progress of all projects in the portfolio using appropriate tools and techniques
- Managing artwork, packaging stocks, specification changes and making sure all changes are implemented
- Identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders
- Manage various databases relating to products and product development, ranging from new products, suppliers, delist trackers to potential customers
- Developing relationships with potential customers to find suitable products and solutions before passing them onto the sales team
- Working with multiple sources of information and teams to continually improve EW offering and building customer base
- Handling customer and colleague queries or directing them to the relevant member of staff
- Ensuring your workload is well managed and completed within very tight deadlines
**Idea generation**
All members of the EW team should be proactive in proposing new product ideas through regular contact and feedback from the EW product manager resource within partner companies, trade shows and market developments and innovation.
**Teamwork**
EW will comprise a small team of core roles and by default there will be a requirement for teamwork and cross-functional assistance.
**Other**
To carry out other duties as necessary or as specified by the Export & Business Development Manager or Business Unit Director. Activity carried out to agreed standards and timescales.
**Experience**
To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you are educated to Highers or A level equivalent and have previous and significant administration experience within a project and product management role, preferably within the food service / hospitality / coffee industries.
**Skills / Knowledge**
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage own workloads
- Good standard of computer literacy and technical ability, especially with Microsoft Office Packages.
- Ability to proactively investigate, assess and resolve issues with little or no guidance
- Good standard of written English and strong attention to detail
- Excellent numerical skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly
